What is Called To Words?
Called To Words is a place for articles, book reviews, interviews, and blog posts that promote thoughtful engagement from a Biblical perspective. Our vision is to help others realize that we are all called to words and we should use them, read them, write them, share them, in a way that is encouraging and glorifies God.

Why Called To Words?
There are many other outlets that share blog-posts, provide “think tank” opportunities, and flood social media with inspiring quotes and scripture verses. What makes Called To Words different and needed?

In our world, it is easy to talk over one-another. Though there are many “trolls” and fake accounts, many people in our world have important questions with insufficient answers.
Called To Words will be a place where faith and culture can meet in discussion. We want to present truth in love to readers from a biblical perspective through thought-provoking articles, book reviews, and community engagement.

We want to use words that will encourage readers, to help and equip them through difficulties, and help them encounter the joy found in the Words of Scripture.

As we grow, we want to promote other authors and encourage others to use their own words in a way that glorifies God and reaches others.

I am committed to serving in any way I can to further the reach of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and fulfill the Great Commission. I have a great desire to encourage and inspire others to glorify God and love others.

I am currently working on an PhD at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I graduated from Trinity Baptist College with a B.A. in Pastoral Theology and SBTS with a Masters of Divinity.

By God’s kindness, I am married to my beautiful wife Jessica; we enjoy serving the Lord together at our church, taking occasional trips to Disney, going to the movies, reading books, and frequenting local coffee shops. I am a Florida native and have worked on designing and editing several different church websites, managed social media for five different ministry organizations, and preached in many protestant evangelical churches both in the U.K. and the U.S. I am currently serving as the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Auburn, KY.

A few of my favorite books are: “The Holiness of God” by R.C. Sproul, “Don’t Waste Your Life” by John Piper, “The Screwtape Letters” by C.S. Lewis, and “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
